Getting Started

  • Will You Help Me Figure Out if ETA is Even Right For Me?

Start by taking the [Do You Qualify?] diagnostic test—and [Set up a Call] to discuss your fit.

  • What Do I Need To Commit Upfront?

When you click [Join the Next Cohort], you'll be taken to a landing page where you'll sign two short documents: an Honor Code and a Non-Disclosure Agreement. The Honor Code also outlines our 100% money-back guarantee. Once those are signed, you’ll be billed for the program. After payment is received, you’ll get immediate access to the course materials.

We recommend signing up 4–6 weeks before the bootcamp starts so we can onboard you properly. Our onboarding materials are designed to help everyone establish and develop baseline skills (in modeling, accounting, etc.). These prep materials will help you hit the ground running on Day 1.

  • Do I Need A Deal In Hand?

You don’t need a deal in hand—or a finance background—to get started. Whether you’re just exploring ETA or actively evaluating businesses, this bootcamp meets you where you are. Many of our members join while working full-time. The structure is flexible, the support is real, and the goal is to get you ready for every step of the journey—from first outreach to final wire.

  • What Level Of Capital Should I Have Lined Up Before Enrolling?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer—it depends on the kind of business you want to buy. In Week 1, we walk through the economics of ETA in detail and help you reverse-engineer a plan that fits your goals. But here’s the short version:

    • If you want to buy a business that generates $500K in EBITDA on your own, you’ll likely need at least $300K–$500K in liquidity, factoring in search costs, deal expenses, and equity requirements.
    • If you want to buy a larger, more resilient business, you’ll probably need investors. The good news? We’ll show you how to attract them—and how much equity you’ll likely need to contribute (often just 1–3% of the purchase price).

Most searchers don’t fail for lack of hustle. They fail because they didn’t plan their runway. We’ll help you get this part right from the beginning.

  • Are There Any Prerequisites?

You don’t need an MBA or to come from Wall Street. But you do need to bring curiosity, discipline, and drive. If you don’t have a finance or accounting background, that’s okay—we’ve built the bootcamp to teach you the fundamentals. You’ll get the tools, frameworks, and support to learn what you need to know.

But make no mistake: If numbers make you uncomfortable—or you avoid spreadsheets like the plague—this will stretch you. We’ll walk you through the financial concepts step by step, but you’ll need to put in the reps. Because buying a business means making financial decisions with real consequences. You don’t have to be a CPA, but you do have to get comfortable asking smart questions, reading a P&L, and stress-testing a model. So what’s the real prerequisite? The willingness to work hard, stay humble, and do the uncomfortable things most searchers skip.

Not sure if you’re ready? Take our short “Do You Qualify?” diagnostic and schedule a call to talk through your results. We’ll help you figure out if this is the right next step.

Resources, Access & Support

  • What Resources Will I Have Access To

We have over 150 templates and frameworks.   Here is a short list of some of the files you would have access to:

  • Will I Have Community Access?

Yes. We keep our cohorts intentionally small to foster intimacy, accountability, and real connection. You'll be part of a private Slack channel for your group, with opportunities for group work, collaboration, and peer feedback. You'll also gain access to our extended network—whether you need introductions to lenders, investors, or subject-matter experts, we’ve got you. And if you want more tailored help, our consulting services can step in and act like your deal partner.

  • Is There Any Mentorship?

You’ll likely have a lot of questions while you progress through the training, which is why we host a weekly office hours call. This is a high touch experience. We use slack. We host weekly calls. You can also click here to submit your questions in advance of each. And if you’d like more mentorship, we also offer consulting services where you get 1:1 personalized mentorship.

Pricing & Value

  • $10k Sounds Like A Lot

Yes, it costs $10K. And yes, that’s a lot.

But let’s put that in context:

    • One bad deal could cost you hundreds of thousands
    • One missed opportunity could delay your freedom for years
    • Most searchers lose far more in dead deal costs alone

We’ll help you avoid all that—and move forward with conviction.

If you complete all 13 weeks and don’t feel more confident, prepared, and equipped to close a deal, you have two options:

    • Request a full refund, no hard feelings.
    • Choose a free 1:1 consult, where I’ll work with you directly to figure out what’s missing.

I built this bootcamp for serious buyers. If you show up and do the work, I’ll stand behind it—100%.

  • What Kind Of Results Have Past Participants Seen?
    • ✅ 100% said the program was worth their time
    • ⭐ Average rating: 4.75 out of 5.00 across 72 learning objectives
    • 🧭 Most importantly: They walked away with clarity, conviction, and a step-by-step roadmap they can follow

This bootcamp is still new—most participants are in the early stages of their search—but we’re already seeing strong signals of success. As deals close, we expect the results to speak for themselves.
